Hi-Fi Rush Zine!
Name pending. This project is a Hi-Fi Rush digital fanzine! We're trying to accept as many people as we can for this project so they have a chance to show their love for this game!
Rules
- Be kind and respectful to other participants and mods. Hate speech and bigotry will not be tolerated.
- We ask that all contributor's be 18+.
- Contributor's are expectred to have an understanding of Hi-Fi Rush's characters, story, and setting.
- This zine is for all ages. No sexual/NSFW content will be permitted.
- No sharing full art pieces before the zine's release. Previews and WIPs are OK!! Please share your full piece's AFTER the zine's release.
- AI Usage is not permitted for art or writing.
- All contributor's must have discord as we will be using it for communication. Contributor's will be responsible for updates and deadlines during the project.
Artist Requirements
- All artists must be able to create a full art piece including background.
- Digital art and traditional art are welcome! If you're submitting traditional art, please provide a clear scan of your piece.
- One page must be in a square format of 2100 x 2100 @ 300dpi with an RGB color profile.We are doing a square format as we want the cover of the zine to resemble an album cover!
Writer Requirements
- Written pieces must be between 500 to 3000 words maximum.
- All writing must be uploaded to Google Docs.
- When submitting your piece please make sure it's in a 12-point and clear font.
Cosplay Requirements
- Full cosplay photography images are allowed as well as collage styled images.
- Photos can be of yourself (and other cosplayers with credits included) cosplaying a Hi-Fi Rush character OR of Hi-Fi Rush props such as Chai's guitar or Peppermint's gun. Feel free to ask questions if more clarification is needed.
- If applicable, include credits to photographers, other cosplayers, etc.
- DO NOT submit pictures of other people without their permission. Submit photos that only YOU have the right to use.
Merch Artist Requirements
- Based on what kind of merch you would like to make (printable memos, printable stickers, etc.) canvas size may vary. Please talk to the merch mods about what kind of digital merch you would like to make and we can give suggestions for canvas sizes.
- Digital art and traditional art are welcome! If you're submitting traditional art, please provide a clear scan of your piece.

Hi! I'm Felicity! I'm an artist, character designer, magical girl vtuber, cosplayer, video editor, merch maker, and full time content creator! I love fighting games, strawberries, pastel pink, and of course, Hi-Fi Rush!I've been wanting to make a Hi-Fi Rush zine as my first zine project that I run for a long while now! Hi-Fi Rush literally saved my life when I was in a really rough spot and was a threat to myself. It's a game that made me love to live again and I can't wait to see what the rest of the future looks like for myself!I want to make sure this zine is open to as many people as possible so they can share their love with us! This zine and all future zines I head mod for will aim to be made with love by fans and for fans!

Hi, I’m Ro (they/them), and I like to call myself a Trier of Things™. I’m a writer of both original and fanfiction (sometimes nonfiction, if I feel like it), a Twitch streamer, an amateur singer and songwriter, a struggling artist, a visual novel and video game programmer, and a learner and translator of Japanese, among other things. Hi-Fi Rush is a combination of so many things I love, and I’m really excited to be a part of this project as a Writing Mod! I’ve modded for a few zines already and contributed to even more, and I also work part-time as a copyeditor, so I hope to be able to use my skills and experience to help make a great zine with all of you!

Yes, we would prefer to work with people who have an understanding of Hi-Fi Rush's story and characters!Can I change my pitch after I've been accepted?
Yes! If you have a new idea that you would like to create for then that's okay! We ask that you notify our mods and such before you do so.Can I create multiple pieces?
Yes! If you happen to finish your first piece early then you are welcome to create another one! Just notify a mod first!Can I create a piece in an AU setting or with OCs?
AUs are not allowed. We would like to focus solely on the main story and characters of Hi-Fi Rush. For OCs, you are welcome to create references to them in your pieces as long as they are not prominently being featured in your work.Can my work include shipping?
No. We will be focusing on canon relationships (friendships) with the characters.What if I can't get my piece turned in by a certain check-in day or final submission day?
Please speak to a mod if you need an extension! We'd be happy to give you more time just as long as you ask. We ask that extensions be requested AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE CHECK-IN.
